November 3, 2020 City Council Election

A City election will be held on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2020 for the purpose of electing two Councilmembers and a Mayor. The City Council consists of four Councilmembers and a Mayor who are elected at-large by the City’s voters.  They serve without salary, but are compensated for expenses as provided by the City Code.  They may serve two consecutive four-year terms.  This year, Vice-Mayor Mindy Gibson is eligible for re-election, but Mayor Frank Catino and Councilman Mark Brimer are not eligible to run due to term limits. 

Qualifications:  A candidate for Mayor or City Council must be a registered voter who has been a resident of the City for at least one year prior to the date of qualifyingand has filed the necessary documents with the City Clerk between July 31 – August 14, 2020.
