Satellite Beach Recreation Department - Volunteer Program

The City of Satellite Beach Recreation Department has developed a program to connect students to the City through community engagement.  The recreation volunteer program coordinates efforts with Brevard Public Schools, local private schools, community groups and the public to allow volunteer participation in many City sponsored events, camps, and programs.
The City of Satellite Beach prides itself on our long history of citizen volunteers. Our founder Percy Hedgecock often stated that, “this community was built on the backs of citizen volunteers”.  Satellite Beach students and adults are encouraged to invest time in their community.
