Satellite Beach Golf Cart Club Halloween Golf Cart parade registration begins at DeSoto Park at 5pm, parade starts @6pm leaving from DeSoto Park and ending at City Hall with judging, food trucks, prizes and fun. Satellite Beach celebrates our annual Founders Day with the Satellite Beach Woman’s Club Marketplace featuring more than 100 craft and specialty vendors at the DRS Community Center. We look forward to enjoying this year’s parade themed “Celebrate Satellite Beach, the City Built by Volunteers” showcasing the beauty and resilience of our community. This year our parade goal is to have all participants refrain from using single use plastics and using as much recyclable materials as possible on their float entries. Nov 13 Movie on the Green - Free Birds (PG)

Nov 20 Punkin Chunkin Demonstration
Members of the Air Force Technical Applications Center and Kegman, Inc., (an AFTAC contractor) are teaming with the City of Satellite Beach Saturday, Nov. 20, to demonstrate the use of trebuchets to youth in the local community. Kids will have a hands-on opportunity after at the demonstration. A trebuchet is a type of catapult that uses a long arm to throw a projectile. AFTAC competes in an annual Punkin’ Chunkin’ competition that serves as both a morale booster as well as and technical data collection opportunity. The event begins at 4 p.m., at DeSoto Baseball Fields, 499 DeSoto Pkwy. For more information contact the Satellite Beach Recreation Dept (321) 773 6458.
Dec 4 Ocean Reef Beach Festival
Celebrate the ocean lifestyle with conservation and recreation displays, activities and hands on learning! Over 90 exhibits and vendors including food trucks, local ocean artists, live music and more! The event is FREE to the public and will be held from 10am-5pm at Pelican Beach Park. We encourage all to walk or ride your bike and help do your part to conserve. A free shuttle will be available from the DRS Community Center. Proceeds from the event benefit Surfrider Foundation and Anglers for Conservation.
Dec 5 SB Fire Department Open House
The annual holiday open house Sunday, Dec 5th from 5:30-8:30pm will be FLAMINGO-BELLS all the way, as Santa Claus visits the SANTA-llite Beach Fire Dept for a quick tropical vacation before his busy time! Jingle and Mingle with the firefighters and help kick off the Annual Twilight Santa Route which starts the following night. Tropical Christmas festivities will include visits with Santa, a DJ, musical performances by local school groups, kid’s games, bounce house, ugly sweater contest, story time and crafts with the Satellite Beach Library. Snacks will be provided by the Satellite Beach Women's Club & the 55+ Club. Toys and canned food donations will be collected for the Satellite Cares Community Program.
Dec 6-11 Twilight Santa
Satellite Beach Fire Rescue and Paramedics along with the reserve firefighter organization proudly presents “Twilight Santa”. An annual tradition since 1981, bringing cheer and happiness to people of all ages during the holiday season by parading Santa atop a brightly decorated fire truck through the streets of our community. Listen for the sound of the fire engines each night from 6-9pm.
12/6: Jackson Ave south to Park Ave (East of S Patrick Dr)
12/7: Park Ave south to Cinnamon Drive
12/8: West side of S Patrick Drive (Including Lansing Island)
12/9: Cassia Blvd south to DeSoto Parkway

Dec 9 Phone Call from Santa’s Elves
Satellite High School Jr. ROTC, along with the Satellite Beach Recreation Dept, will provide calls from Santa’s Workshop. Parents can complete a form for each child online anytime between Nov 1 – Dec 8. Santa’s elves will call on Thursday, December 9th from 5-8pm EST to any child in the Continental U.S.
Dec 11 Movie on the Green - How the Grinch Stole Christmas (PG)
Join us on Saturday, Dec 11th at the DRS Community Center for a FREE Holiday Movie on the Green. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs and settle in for a fun night under the stars. Plan to arrive early to pick your spot, event begins at 5pm, movie starts at dusk. Food Trucks will be on hand. You won't want to miss our special guest's appearance (bring your camera)!!!
Dec 18 Jingle Bell Run 2 Miler
This annual FESTIVE race is part of the Running Zone’s Race Series to benefit Satellite High School Running Programs. Lots of fun for everyone beginning at the Satellite Beach Library. Register online HERE
Dec 18 Holiday Boat Parade
The Banana River Sail and Power Squadron will sponsor the 2021 Holiday Boat Parade, along with the Best Decorated Boat Contest! Participant vessels should assemble that evening at the north end of the Satellite Beach Grand Canal and travel south beginning at 6pm. Cash Prizes awarded for contest winners!
