Everyday from 10-5pm, May 24th-August 9th.
Park hours are from 9:00am till dusk.
Pelican Beach Park is our beachside park where many celebrated activities take place.It’s the perfect location for special events such as family gatherings, birthday parties, and company picnics. Due to the popularity of the park, it is required that pavilions must be rented in order to utilize. The volleyball courts are for use by pavilion renters with permits on the weekends.

The two volleyball sand courts can be used by the community without reservation during the week. However, on weekends the courts are reserved for use by renters of pavilions.

The improvements to Hightower Beach Park, jointly funded by the Land & Water Conservation Fund and a partnership with Montecito Community Development, were recognized in the National Park Service’s Annual Report to Congress. The City wanted this park to educate its visitors to the uniqueness of the dune and beach system, and empower folks to make a difference. Educational signs are located throughout the park to meet this goal. Come and enjoy the natural beauty of the what this park has to offer. We encourage family and friends to walk or bike to the park.

This unspoiled view of a native Florida beach is nestled ocean side of Highway A1A between Ellwood and Park Avenue. It is approximately 2 acres in size and is undeveloped. You can only walk or bike to this beach as there are no parking areas here. No additional amenities at this location other than a dune crossover on the south side of the property.
