Adventures in Cooking

Ages: 5-12 yrs  

Themes: July 23: “Piggly Wiggly” Make your own pig faced pizzas; make a wolf or pig mask & use your mask to act out the story of the Three Little Pigs.  July 8: “Butterfly & Caterpillar” Students will take a look at real caterpillars, cocoons & butterflies.  Plant your own butterfly attracting plants in a decorated take home jar.  Paint a butterfly & decorate your own butterfly cake.  July 15:  “Japanese” Make a dragon head necklace  and create your own rice krispy treat sushi roll. July 22:  “Oceans”  Paint your own wood surfboard frame and make a pretzel octopus to eat.    July 29:  “Circus”  Make your own clown face sandwich and paint a monkey keychain.

Ages: *3-12 yrs Let’s have fun in the kitchen.  Some simple easy to follow recipes that are sure to be a hit at home.  No heat source required. An enjoyable & delicious snack with hands on cooking experience.

Baton Twirling

Ages: 5-14 yrs

Students will learn basic twirling fundamentals & dance routines using batons, flags, streamers & hoops. Routines are set to music & designed like a High School “half-time” show.
