David Mastrolonardo, Jr.
Professional Baseball Player


David Mastrolonardo, Jr. grew up in Satellite Beach.  “MASTRO” played baseball with the Satellite Beach Little League and at Satellite High School graduating in 1993.

Upon graduation, MASTRO received a scholarship to attend Central Florida Community College in Ocala.  As a closer, he held the National record for Saves (21) and ERA (1.25). David was then offered a scholarship to attend the University of Miami where he was a member of the 1996 College World Series team.  He also attended Brewton Parker University in Georgia where he helped lead the team to win the NAIA World Series.

In 1997, MASTRO signed with the Baltimore Orioles Organization. During his professional career, he received the Rolaids Relief Award for the best closer in the organization & the Appalachian League Championship in Bluefield, Virginia.  David was named one of the Orioles’ Top Twenty Prospects.

Other professional teams MASTRO played for include the Texas Rangers, the Long Island Ducks and the Atlantic City Surfs. From 1997 until 2003, David played as a Rookie in Triple A ball.

MASTRO graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Liberal Studies. 

MASTRO fulfilled a dream when he opened TOP PROSPECTS INC. in December 2003. Top Prospects is an indoor baseball school located in Suntree, FL.  David has dedicated his business to effectively teach students the skills that will guide them towards success on the baseball field, and more importantly throughout life.

David is grateful for the opportunity Satellite Beach gave him to play sports in a safe community.  His sports involvement helped him build many great relationships.  David, his wife Andrea and son David Michael reside in Brevard County.
