Bird Watching 101
Ages: Adults Take the opportunity to
tour Samsons Island with avid birdwatcher and volunteer naturalist Richard Santangelo – half
of the tour will be by boat and the other on the island. Free public boat transportation
leaves from the SB Fire Dept. dock. (Bring your binoculars if you have them!

Training Program to
Aid Sea Turtles
Ages: Adults The Sea Turtle Emergency
Response Program (STERP) utilizes volunteers to rescue posthatchling (“washback”) sea
turtles that are washed back ashore with seaweed during events in which there is a strong wave
or wind conditions. Annual attendance at a
workshop/field training session is required by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation
Commission (FFWCC) in order to participate in this program.

Birthday Card Making Night

Join us in making four birthday cards with rubberstamps that you can take home. We will

Beginning Watercolor Workshops
A true beginner’s course, these 4-hour workshops cover easy basics in color theory,
composition, and achieving 3-dimensional effects. The teacher will demonstrate mixing and
fundamental watercolor techniques.

Square Dancing The Allemanders Square
Dance Club will be dancing from 8pm-10pm on Saturdays at the S.B. Civic Center (565 Cassia

Round Dance is choreographed ballroom
