Halloween Howl

Save the Date!   The SB Dog Park Halloween Howl will be Sunday, October 28th at 1pm.  $3/entry (must show vaccination record if new to the SB park) will get you into the park and the Howling Event.  Over 30 dogs turned out last year!  Awards, refreshments and a good time will be had by all!

Grass, Grass and more Grass!

We are very fortunate to have been able to resod almost all of the BIG dog area.  For now, we have fenced off the newly sodded area in order for the grass to get established… about 5-6 weeks.   You can help us by making sure your dog does not inadvertently get into the fenced area.  Thanks for your patience.

NEW Hours in Effect September 1st !

Don’t forget about our new hours…  Monday – Friday      8am-11am &  4pm-7pm

                                                                     Saturday – Sunday   8am-7pm

You ask WHY the reduced hours?  Budget restraints due to tax reform required that all Satellite Beach Recreation Facilities reduce the hours they are open to the public.   In most cases, the deleted hours were when the park was not well attended.   The Satellite Beach Dog Park will continue to open with a city staff so tell your friends who may not be able to utilize the County dog parks to join you in Satellite Beach!

Satellite Beach Founder’s Day and Woman’s Club Marketplace

In celebration of the City of SB turning 50 years old, we are going all out at the Annual Founder’s Day Event, Saturday, November 3rd, 9am-4pm.  The day’s festivities are held at the DRS Community Center, 1089 S. Patrick Drive, SB and include Original Highwaymen Artists, Crafts, Live Music, Farmers Market, and Festival Food.  There is also a GREAT Hometown parade that begins at 11am from DeLaura Middle School (located on Jackson Ave.) and ends at the DRS Community Center.
