Doggie Olympics….. What a Day we
had!!
The Sunday Olympics was a huge success! Our Olympic Park was filled with 30 dog entries, their
owners, extended family and Olympic fans! AND thanks to
their participation and the donations from our sponsors, we raised over $375 towards Dog Park
improvements. Please give your support to these
sponsors: Doubles Hoagies, Expression Florist, Beach
House Flowers & Gifts, Long Doggers, Paradise Pet Estates, Seaside Veterinary Clinic, South
Patrick Animal Hospital, Pet Supermarket and Blue Lemon Café.
In order to be eligible for a $25 rebate, you must file
your Rebate Application with the County within 30 days of sterilization. Other important details can

With a little preparation, you and your pets can reduce
your stress when a hurricane approaches. Know in advance which shelters or hotels permit pets and
make an evacuation kit that includes food and medicine for your pets and don’t forget a copy of
your immunization record. For information on Brevard

JOIN BARC. IT'S FREE BREVARD ANIMAL RECREATION CLUB If you live in Brevard County, are 18 years or over and are in favor of dog parks, please join BARC. There are no dues or fees and you are under no obligation. The City of Satellite
Beach has been moving forward with the State of Florida initiative, “Communities for a Lifetime”
for our elder residents. The City of Satellite Beach in
conjunction with Wuesthoff Health System, is providing a series of lectures addressing the subject
of “Caring for the Caregiver.” This series which is provided by local experts is open to all seniors and
invaluable to any adult family member as well! As you
know, the role as an elder caregiver is a growing concern in our community and nationwide as our
population continues to age.

launch time. Special demonstrations on birdwatching,
kayaking, nature photography, camping, reptile exhibit, flute
making and native plant identification. Free sack lunch!
