Dog Olympics coming to Satellite Beach

The Satellite Beach Dog Park proudly announces the second annual Doggy Olympics.  Test your dogs’ talent in some of our Olympic Events… High Jump, Obstacle Course, Cookie Catch, and Homerun Derby.  The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 29, 2pm at the Olson Baseball Field, 530 Cinnamon Drive.  Bring your dog on-leash and please only one dog per adult.  All dogs must show written verification of current rabies shots and they must be wearing their Brevard County Animal License Tag on their collar.  $5/entry!  Bring the whole family to cheer on your Canine Competitor!

Safeguarding your dog against the F lu

According to Cornell University’s publication, “Dog Watch” you can take Flu precautions by making sure your dog is up to date on his shots; avoiding contact with other dogs that appear to be ill; if your dog visits a groomer or boarding facility ask these questions-has the facility had a history of respiratory outbreaks, if so, what actions have been taken to remedy the problem, if an outbreak occurs at this facility, what steps will be taken to ensure that he does not become ill?

Same Breed Night, 6-8pm

Same Breed Night is a way to meet & socialize with others who own the same dog breed as yourself.  Entry requirements for your dog still apply (current shots & County tag).

Dog Park entry fees will remain in effect and the park will not be closed to other dogs.
