Keep the Grass Green
and Clean
We are very fortunate to have been able to resod almost all of the BIG dog area. Please keep the canines from doing digging in the grassy area, there is still sandy patches for that kind of fun. Also, remember to pick up after your pooch.
Holiday Hours
The Dog Park will be open on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve from 8am-11am, then closed the rest of the day. The Dog Park will also be closed all day Christmas day and New Years Day. Have a safe Holiday!

Tree tinsel if eaten by your dog or cat can lodge in your pet’s intestines

These items are poisonous… chocolate, poinsettia plants, & car antifreeze

Ham scraps can cause pancreatitis and turkey bones can perforate an animal’s bowels.
The Party’s Over
If you have been following the birthday
events for the City of Satellite Beach’s 50th Celebration, then you must know by
now… the Party’s Over. And what a year it
was! The Recreation Department appreciated it
very much if you participated in any of the events. Now on to 2008. Please check out the

A Dog Obedience Class for dogs 4 months & older will be held 7-8pm on Tuesdays beginning Jan. 8th. A Puppy class is also being offered on Sundays 3-4pm beginning January 6th. Call the Satellite Beach Recreation Dept. for specifics, 773-6458.
