The Facilities Maintenance Division is tasked with maintaining the many buildings required to facilitate the operations of the other departments within the City of Satellite Beach. Such as City Hall/ Civic Center Complex, Police Department, Fire Department and the Recreation Department. Some examples of major endeavors undertaken by this division are the rebuilding of the dune crossovers at Magellan Avenue and the one behind Sun on the Beach Restaurant. The renovation of the old Mark Realty building, now called the Pelican Beach Clubhouse is another example of the Facilities Division's talents. Pelican Beach clubhouse has become one of the focal points of our City. The wide variety of task accomplished by this division is: plumbing, electrical, cabinetry construction, painting and floor tile, too name a few.
